Arts Wednesday 14 September 2022

September 13, 2022

In the first half hour, we return to a series from 2016 with Jacqui Newling called Eat Your History. Jacquie is colonial gastronomer at Sydney Living Museums and in this series, she takes us through our history of basic food staples. First episode is our most basic: bread.

At 11:00 am, I’ll be pleased to welcome back to Arts Wednesday Dr Ginni Mansberg, talking about menopause in the workplace. One in ten women leave work during menopause because symptoms can be unbearable. This happens when they are aged 45-55, a time when we can least afford to lose them. Ginni and her colleague, Shelley Horton have devised an online course to help businesses understand what his going on with their work colleagues.

Music is mostly songs about women.

Do join me.
