Arts Dr Margaux Dombkins spoke with Director, Denny Lawrence about ‘All My Love’ which tells the untold love story between two of Australia’s most famous writers, Henry Lawson and Mary Gilmore. At the end of the 19^th Century, Mary Gilmore was introduced to the young Henry Lawson. As their friendship developed, Mary found herself caught in the midst of an intense relationship between Henry and his formidable mother, the suffragette, Louisa Lawson. This fascinating tale of a forbidden relationship is based on excerpts from the couple’s surviving letters.
