Trail Songs from the Deep by Murray Hammond

Murry is the founder a legendary Alt-Country group old 97’s. This is his second solo record, it’s been a long time between drinks for Hammond. ‘I’m On My Way’ was released in 2008 but once the needle begins to weave you’ll hear the wait was worth it.

This album blends twang with soft melodies, Hammonds powerful voice meets Annie Crawford’s Piano, Richard Hewett’s Drums and Faith Shippy’s strumming of the bowed upright bass.

“Murry Hammond’s 2025 release Trail Songs of the Deep is his greatest achievement, the perfect distillation of his grand vision, and conclusive evidence of his centrality to the last half-century of American music.” – Rhett Miller

flowermuscle by Jane Sheldon

On this record Sydney based soprano and composer Jane Sheldon explores a lush sonic space that feels both powerful and delicate, using the tools of alternative to delve into “the sensuality of transcendent experience”.

This album is the work of a contemporary audio artist who will guide you through the forefront of art music.

“The realm of flowermuscle is this gorgeous plane of sensual receptivity. A gently disorienting ecstasy.” – Jane Sheldon
