Jammin’ Friday is a breakfast morning music show. Prepare yourself to travel into a musical journey where Jazz meets the Suave Rhythms of Latin America and Mother Africa. Soul, blues, gospel and Classic R&B songs from the 60s 70s will also be on the menu. All this with a French & Creole Touch! The show promotes some local jazz gig in collaboration with Melanie from Take One who will provide a 1 minute segment on what’s going on in Sydney. Halfway through the show at 8am, get the weather and traffic report. Discover a plethora of beautiful songs, hopefully, you will enjoy a morning trip around the world.

Athésia is a Haitian French Canadian Jazz Singer-songwriter and she’s bringing a touch of “Je ne sais quoi” to Sydney! Athésia is an international performer who has performed in Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Haiti, USA and Sri Lanka to name a few.
Athésia has a residency gig at the Intercontinental in Double Bay where she brings her guests to a night of Jazz, Latin, Bossa Nova with a French and Creole touch! You can also find Athésia singing at music festivals, private parties and corporate events. She will be performing at City Recital hall on Thursday 18th of July. Athésia is working on material for a new album, this work will constitute an innovative musical journey through the Haitian roots of the singer-songwriter, in the meantime, you can stream her latest album on Spotify or iTunes. #AthesiaMusic
