Live Interview with Vashti Hughes talking about her show “Larry’s Odyssey” coming up at the new East Sydney Arts & Community Centre.

Experience a voice class with vocal coach to the stars Larry Olive, who while warming up your “P-Spot” divulges his expert tips on the secrets to success as an Actor in the theatre. For the trained, untrained or anyone still in recovery from their drama school experience.
An immersive and interactive “hour of power” where audiences are the students in the voice class and experience vocal exercises specific to Actor training. The show explores the power dynamics that can exist between teachers and students reminiscent of the Harvey Weinstein scandal rocking showbiz.
This dark-comedy is a modern take on Homer’s “Odyssey” as the audience become the characters along his epic journey to the casting agent.
Please note: Attendees will be participating in a vocal class which includes standing, sitting, vocalising and jiggling on the floor. Attendees are encouraged to wear suitable clothing and foot wear. Strictly limited capacity.

The interview was first broadcast during Queer for your ears Show on Eastside89.7fm.
