Tony Gorman and Bobby Singh team up with Sandy Evans

Tony Gorman and Bobby Singh are gearing up for a night of scintillating music featuring the Sandy Evans trio at The Sound Lounge in August.

Notoriously reclusive, Gorman and Singh are coming back to bring us a night of clarinet and tabla brought together in musical harmony.

Gorman and Singh have brought their friendship into a musical light, with the two musicians bonding over a shared love of cars and music.

Gorman’s clarinet work has been described by limelight magazine as ‘dreamy and immaculate’ that holds ‘immense power’ over the listener.

Singh’s tabla playing has been described by the SMH as ‘intimate, like music being whispered into your ear’.

The second half of their concert will feature the musical stylings of the Sandy Evans Trio. The group are known for recharacterizing jazz and indian fusion music with their astounding improvisations and percussion solos.
