Step back a century to the outbreak of World War I as the focus of History Week this year will help you to understand innumerable
aspects of this experience, which will occupy historical interest over the next four years.
Mandy Kretzschnar, Executive Officer of the History Council of NSW, is first up on the program to give us insight into the events of History Week from 6 to 14 September 2014.

Margie, the Director of Critical Path, will talk to us about the extraordinary work of this special organisation, developing choreographic and dance practice. You can also learn more through public programs including a forthcoming conversation with the artistic directors of Chunky Move (Vic) and Strut (WA) on 30 August and on 6 September with Garry Stewart from the Australian Dance Theatre and Kate Major (Force Majeur) discussing how personal experiences influence dance practice.
