Science of the Past

Science of the Past
Podcast: Boiling Point

What did ancient scientists and philosophers believe in the past? Were they as far off from modern science as we think? How has science changed over many centuries since Plato, Aristotle, or Carl Linnaeus? Let’s travel back in time and see what we can discover.

In this weeks episode Anastasia chats with Dr Daryn Lehoux. Daryn is a Professor of Philosophy and Classics at Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada and an author of several books pertaining to ancient science and philosophy including “Creatures Born of Mud and Slime”. Daryn and Anastasia go way back to when Anastasia took Daryn’s Classics courses during her undergraduate: Ancient Science and Ancient Medicine.
