Is the new Guula Ngurra National Park, which means “koala country” to the Gundangara traditional owners, enough to save our endangered koalas?  The NSW Government hopes a new National Park will protect koala habitat in the Southern Highlands.

While environmental groups welcome any additional national park space, our koala population is in decline.
