In this podcast, Maisy Stapleton speaks with Prue Venables, a ceramic artist and the focus of an exhibition at the Australian Design Centre: Living Treasures: Masters of Australian Craft \ Prue Venables. Prue is the ninth artist to be honoured as a Master of Australian Craft.

Prue is joined in the interview by Alison Britton, an English ceramicist who was awarded an OBE for services to art and is a fellow of the Royal College of Art in London. Prue and Alison shared a studio together in London, as well as being fellow potters.

Prue and Alison delve in to the work and underlying motivation of artists and Prue explains her development as a potter – by no means a straightforward path.
