Live Music is what we do best here at Eastside Radio and at the East Side Ride we’ll be setting the mood from the early morning sun with DJ’s and a special surprise performance. Then at midday we kick off with jazz songstress Lily Dior followed by reggae ska outfit King Tide with the final performance by jazz funk gurus Directions In Groove guaranteed to keep you peddling all the way home. So make your way over to main stage and be sure to get down to the Eastside sound. We’ve been grooving professionally for 30 years and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!

Lily Dior is one of Australia’s most captivating singers possessing a warm lyrical voice that lends itself equally to the cool subtleties of jazz, and the passionate styling of rhythm and blues. Whether  singing a tender jazz ballad or a soul classic Lily brings heart and depth to every song she sings.The daughter of professional musicians who met and married in London, Lily spent the first five years of her life touring the world with her parents before they settled in Australia.Discovered by the great king of groove Jackie Orszaczky as a teenager, performing a self penned show on the life of Billie Holiday. Lily became a seminal member of Sydney’s hottest Soul/Funk outfit, The Godmothers, wowing audiences with her electric stage presence and powerful voice.

Aria award nominees King Tide are Australia’s’ premier original Rock Steady Reggae gut soul band. King Tide have been touring non-stop since the release of the bands third album Roots Pop Reggae released by Vitamin Records July 2009.With appearance’s at festivals as wide and varied as “Sydney Festival Opening Night”, “Womadalaide”, “Ragamuffin festival”, “The Great Escape”, “Peats Ridge Festival”, “Wave Rock Weekender” W.A, Coast Fest”, “Playground Weekender”, “Reggaetown”,“Island Vibes Festival” “Sub Sonic Festival”, “Mullum Fest”, “Wollombi Fest”, “Rainbow Serpent Festival”, and recently headlining Reggaefest in Ballina with and as the backing band for Jamaican studio one legend Stranger Cole.

Dig (Directions in Groove) is a multi award winning band from Sydney Australia. Dig emerged from  Sydney’s happening club scene in the early 90’s. The band began with a residency at Kinselas. The audience grew exponentially week by week leading to a self financed recording which became the largest selling australian
EP up until that time. It contained the hit ‘Re-invent Yourself’. Touring soon followed and Dig attracted large crowds.
