Delve into Death Magic with Michael Turner from the Nicholson Museum
Arts Monday’s Jane Raffan talks in-depth with Nicholson Museum Senior Curator Michael Turner about the exhibition, Death Magic, which explores the many fascinating aspects of Ancient Egyptian death and funereal symbology, mythology and everyday practices in a great new installation.
The Nicholson Museum is Australia’s oldest University museum and home to the largest collection of antiquities in the Southern Hemisphere. Its Egyptian collections feature many early prized examples of the culture.
