Locus Non Consequensia & Undertaking – Arts Monday
Locus Non Consequensia – ‘location of no consequence’ is a project conceived by artist, Hadyn Wilson to honour an ‘inconsequential space’. This innovative project originally began in early 2000 as a collection of drawings and focuses on one representative square metre of ground delineated by a cast iron frame. The location, chosen randomly using Google Earth and a Random Number Generator, is under the pine trees between the Manly Art Gallery and Manly Wharf. This idea enables us to reflect on the fundamental physical reality around us and is part of the Manly Arts Festival.
Artist, Hadyn Wilson, is my guest today.
