Locus Non Consequensia & Undertaking – Arts Monday

August 27, 2017

Hadyn WilsonLocus Non Consequensia – ‘location of no consequence’ is a project conceived by artist, Hadyn Wilson to honour an ‘inconsequential space’. This innovative project originally began in early 2000 as a collection of drawings and focuses on one representative square metre of ground delineated by a cast iron frame. The location, chosen randomly using Google Earth and a Random Number Generator, is under the pine trees between the Manly Art Gallery and Manly Wharf. This idea enables us to reflect on the fundamental physical reality around us and is part of the Manly Arts Festival.

Artist, Hadyn Wilson, is my guest today.

Locus Non Consequensia ‘Dedication’: Saturday 9 September 2017 – 2.30PM

Undertaking is a psychological immersive thriller headlining Sydney Fringe 2017. This unique, subversive, interactive theatre show puts the audience in control. Set over 20 rooms, this multi-sensory thriller allows the audience to move freely through simultaneous scenes to follow the thread of the story they choose. Audience members decide the outcome and take responsibility for their choices! Undertaking is a production of Mongrel Mouth Theatre Company.

Producer and Director, Duncan Maurice and Actor and co-writer, Sharon Zeeman, are my guests today.
