Introducing the Cinemascape team….

David Michael Brown is a British ex-pat living in Sydney, Australia. He works as a freelance writer contributing to such publications as Film Review, Filmink, Shivers, www.rottentomatoes.com, Smoke and Mirrors, Drum Media, Cinema Retro, Starburst and www.cinephilia.net.au. He is presently researching a book on director and Andy Warhol associate Paul Morrissey and has conducted on stage Q&A’s for Popcorn Taxi and the A Night of Horror film festival. He has just hosted his first DVD running commentary for the forthcoming Australian horror film I Know How Many Runs You Scored Last Summer.

A huge fan of the trashier side of cult films, his love of the movies of Russ Meyer, John Waters and Mario Bava shows no bounds: he proudly declares that Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill! and Danger: Diabolik are his all time favorite films and meeting A Clockwork Orange star Malcolm McDowell was the biggest thrill of his professional career thus far.

Maria Cosmidis is an avid sci-fi and horror movie buff, with a soft spot for anything 80’s. Her favourite movie of all time is The Goonies, and she’s not ashamed! She likes to spend her spare time playing/watching sport of any kind, and looking for good films to watch with her young daughter.
