Arts Friday

Fridays 10:30 – Midday

Presented by Chris Horsey

Covering all things Arts, Christopher J. (for Jump) Horsey calls the news, reviews and interviews giving Sydney a leisurely ‘flick’ through his audio arts magazine.

Featuring his popular ‘Fly On The Wall’ interview series, Chris also chooses from his own music collection and mixes a selection of ‘Cyberjazz’ and ‘Coolscape’ and calls it ‘FriTunes’.

Chris’ background is in the areas of dance, cabaret, film and musical theatre. At the age of 12, he won the Fred Astaire International Tap and Jazz Championship at the Waldorf Astoria, NYC. Since then he has toured USA with award winning cabaret act Fabulous Rhythm Boys, starred on film as Angus in Fox Searchlight’s motion picture Bootmen and collaborated and performed in Hot Shoe Shuffle (the first Australian musical to play a successful season on the West End, Queens Theatre) and Tap Dogs, Union Square Theatre NYC (for which he won a Village Voice Obie Award).
