Help Save Paddington’s Historic Juniper Hall

Hi All,

I just wanted make you all aware about the plans to sell Paddington’s historic Juniper Hall on the 25th of September.

The Juniper Hall was a Bicentennial gift to the nation, cash was raised by the community and corporate sponsors in order to keep it part of the community.

Local resident Laelie Schwartz has been campaigning to stop the sale and to keep the building in the hands of the public. She has gathered 700 signatures but she needs people in the community to get involved. If you are interested in getting involved you can send an email to savejuniperhall@gmail.com.

Also, you can go to this website and send off an objection to Robyn Parker the Minister for Heritage.

It is important to note that there is only one week to do something about the sale.

If you want to find out any other details about the sale or the campaign then check out the article published by the Wentworth Courier last week.

This Friday at 4:45pm the Friday Drive Program will have a segment about the Juniper Hall sale. Guests include: Laelie Schwartz, Liberal Councilor Peter Cavanagh and a representative of the National Trust (NSW). Be sure to tune in!

Cheers,

Gloria
