10pm- Cameron Deyell’s Dub Scouts

Matt Keegan - sax and effects
Lloyd Swanton - maximum bass
Cameron Deyell - guitar and effects
Stu Hunter - keys
Declan Kelly - bus driver
Richie B - live sound

After a 3 year hiatus, the Dub Scouts return to Jazzgroove.

We like King Tubby and Duke Ellington.
Every dub we play is different from the last.
We think music is proper soul food.
And yet we are poorly named. We are the Dub Scouts.

8:30pm- Miss Little

Sarah McCallum - piano, wurlitzer, synth, vocals
Matt Keegan - saxophone, effects box, foot tambourine
Mr T - drums

Sarah has been gearing up to start a run of Miss Little shows with a new line-up. Recruiting local saxophonist Matt Keegan, the duo present a new take on the usual pop/rock/jazz performance by using non traditional orchestrations. The new band also incorporates a tape machine (yes, a reel to reel!) as their drummer. Miss Little will be releasing the first single off the album very soon.
